Saturday

Saturday was created from Erin McMorris's "Weekends" collection and a bunch of other fabrics that Candice and I added to our quilts.  I liked her quilt so much I had to make mine immediately, while I was in the zone.  I actually really like it.  I didn't, while I was making it, but when I finally had it all quilted I was really pleased with the result.  I didn't quilt over the grey strips but when I took it off the long-arm I didn't like it, so I quilted some straight lines on my sewing machine.  That had the desired effect.  It's a fun quilt.  I pieced the back out of what was left so I guess I should post a picture of that too.  I bound it with a grey and white pinstripe.
